"What's on your mind" missing from profile

  • 1.  "What's on your mind" missing from profile

    Hi all, 

    I had agents reach out today because in their "Profile," the "Whats on your mind" section is gone. Now they have to click into where they can edit their profile and use the "What's on your mind" section. I have not seen announcements of this being removed. Is there anyway to bring this back with a new permission or something else?

    Are you talking about this box on the profile page from the user icon in the upper right?

    Huh, I just noticed mine is missing from that view as well, I'm not in there too much so I wouldn't have noticed the change. Curious to see if this was a change that was made or something on my side?

    Must be a permission thing.  I tried my ORG in Edge and Chrome and saw it, but I do see that on my ORG I have Directory:User:Edit and I don't have that on the other ORG where it is missing.  Try adding that permission.

    Hey Dylan,

    I've checked my test org and the field is currently showing up as normal. I'm not aware of any changes that have been made but I am looking into this.

    FYI for thought.

    CX2 + WEM Addon I have edit access directly from my browser home page for the message  https://apps.usw2.pure.cloud/directory/#/person-v2

    Hi Theresa, 

    Yes, I did send communication to our team to access their profile directly if they wanted to utilize it, just an additional step! Thanks for sharing for others!

    We're seeing the same thing. It seems like it's permissions-based in some way. My admin account still has it like normal. All of our user accounts don't, though. I haven't had time yet to do any further troubleshooting on exactly what permissions may be doing it.
