    Hello Jeremie,

This is caused by the AWS outage in the MEC1 region.

This message can safely be ignored unless either of the following items are true:

    1. The customer org is located in me-central-1

    2. The customer is utilizing me-central-1 as a media region on any of their trunks or sites

    Hello @Jason Kleitz,

    Thank you for the clarification

Customer org is located in eu-central-1, so you are confirming that there is no risk of any impact on communications in this case

    Regards

Correct. As long as they are not utilizing me-central-1 as a media region on any of their trunks or sites.

    Hi Jason,

Do you know by any chance what could be the symptoms if we have mec1 media region set (and no alternative) hosted on euc1?

    Call disconnect? Mos degradation?

    Thank you.

    Hello Adorjan,

I'm not sure about the exact symptoms that may occur due to the current fluctuation in stability for that AWS region. If you are utilizing me-central-1 as the media region on any sites/trunks, I would recommend that this be changed to a different region to work around the current issue.
