    Is it possible to add SMS capabilities to an existing Genesys Cloud DID number?

    At the current time, this is not possible. This is due to the SMS service being provided by a 3rd party broker which owns the numbers used for that service.

    If this is a Genesys Cloud Voice number, you may be able to use both for voice and SMS.
