  • 1.  Adding a UAE DID/Toll Free number to a US Org.

    We have a customer in the US wanting to add a UAE number to their Org.  GCV does not support UAE, so I am looking at either adding a local edge BYOC-P in the UAE, or using the Media Fabric and adding BYOC-C to a Media Region.  Has anyone done this and are there any regulatory issues with the UAE?  Any recommendation for a local UAE carrier that's support BYOC-C, or BYOC-P.  Thanks.

    With Hybrid Media, you can support both BYOC-C and BYOC-P in the same org and users in each site can communicate with each other and share communication trunks.  As for getting a UAE number, consider a carrier like Bandwidth that can terminate directly into Genesys Cloud CX.  Look at the information here about hybrid media.  About hybrid media - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)
