  • 1.  AI Summary maximum character size

    Hi all,

    Does anybody know if there's an upper limit on the character output from a conversation summary? I'm aware of limits on the input, but don't see anything documented for the output. This is needed to create an automatic push into a 3rd party tool.

    Hello Gary, 

    I dont believe we have a limit documented for the conversation summary output. 

    But please be aware of other limits it sounds like you might hit such as:

    • Max number of attributes per session: 50
    • Max attribute value length: 500 characters
    • Max size for conversation participant attribute items: 20,480 bytes

    I have seen mention internally that "generally we do not exceed 200 words" in a summary...but that's a pretty loose definition. I haven't seen anything on the word lengths they try to hit for Concise vs. Detailed

    In that case we'll just set an adequite buffer in the 3rd party tool for the expected character length, maybe 400.

    Thanks Cameron, we'll keep this in mind. Our plan is to avoid participant attribute and instead use API to stick the data in the 3rd party tool.
