  • 1.  Alternate way for SetPostFlow in Inbound Message flow

    Hello Community,

    I have successfully implemented a Set Post Flow block in the inbound call flow, where, if a call is transferred to an agent and the agent disconnects the call, the post flow triggers another inbound call flow.

    However, I need to achieve the same behavior in the inbound message flow. Since the Set Post Flow block is not supported in the inbound message flow, I am wondering if there is an alternative method to trigger another inbound call flow or an in-queue flow. My requirement is to call a bot and display a response in the chat window if the agent disconnects the call.

    Is there any way to accomplish this in the inbound message flow?

    Angelo,  I appreciate you trying to accelerate it on your roadmap but I don't see it on your published road map.  Is there another one I may not be aware of?  I was looking here: https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/sections/7110235934121363282

    Indeed Mark - the customer facing roadmap includes only features that have moved in development, so you won't find it there for now.

    Not in the message flow per se but we have put a custom "Disconnect" button on our Scripts which transfers chat (messaging) interactions to a dummy queue, and the in-queue flow for that queue has the post-flow logic (survey message etc). Then we trained our agents to use this bespoke Disconnect button rather than the default.
