    Does anyone know of an API that could be used to backup things like our trunk settings?

    Depending upon your goals I would recommend looking at the Command Line Interface (https://developer.genesys.cloud/blog/2021-02-11-Introducing-the-CLI/) or CX as Code. Details on both of these is on the Developer Center https://developer.genesys.cloud/

    I use CX As Code. I recenlty had to copy one ORG to another (new) ORG. 

    While CX As Code was not entirely perfect, it saved me days! The nice thing is, it is open source. So you can contribute if you want.
