  • 1.  Architect SMS verify ANI is from Mobile

    Need to perform opt out to SMS in architect flow and need to check if ANI is from mobile or not. I know there is a formula out there that everyone brings out but makes no sense for US based phone numbers. What is everyone doing to test if Mobile?

    Hello Francisco,

    I'm not sure of a way to test if a phone is mobile or not off of the top of my head. Hopefully someone in the Community will have an idea of how you could accomplish this.

    https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/TEL-I-167 is released allowing you to use  Get SIP Headers action to retrieve all the SIP headers on a BYOC-Cloud call.

    Verizon has X-INFO-DIG corresponding to 0 (wireline) or 62 (wireless).

    So…if you are using BYOC-C and if the mobile carrier adds info to the SIP header indicating it's a mobile call, that's a way to determine landline vs. mobile for incoming calls.
