    Hello,

    Looking for any pointers on using the builtin:amountOfMoney slot for entering money amounts in our bot. Voice recognition for various dollar amounts works as expected, but DTMF is not yielding expected values specifically when trying to specify the cents. 

    Has anyone overcome DTMF input issues with this slot type? What are you doing as an alternative if not?

    As DTMF does not have dollars and cents to enter, no, you can't easily do this.  Now, if you have them enter dollars then star then cents, that is usually interpreted correctly.

    Thanks Robert. On prem we use Genesys Engage/Nuance Recognizer and we're able to use "." as a decimal for DTMF input. We're looking at the Nuance integration with Genesys cloud for comparable functionality, but in the meantime we have a workaround. What we'll do is ask for the currency amount. Next we confirm the amount, if the amount we playback is incorrect then we prompt for dollars and cents separately.

    You can use Nuance for just the amount input and come in and out of the Architect flow for orchestration.  I have not found much difference between Genesys and Nuance on just monetary input.
