Robert,
Thanks for the information which was very helpful. I am new to Gensys and this phone system. So, I have created the external trunks, and everything is setup, and we tested with test numbers, and it all works fine. So, when we port the numbers to BYOC carrier, would that affect in any way the existing queue or will it be seamless and once they set it up and point the numbers to the new trunks then that will be the final and we can cut off from the previous carrier?
Do I have to do anything on my end other than them doing these steps?

With BYOC, if you are changing carriers, your new carrier needs to start the porting process. That can take up to 4 or 6 weeks depending on the carrier. Then once the new carrier has the numbers, they will need to point specific numbers to the different trunks depending on if you want it recorded by default or not. Outbound dial plan rules can choose the recorded trunk or non-recorded trunk based on the Site the user is located in. Let me know if you have other questions.
