    Hi Community,

    we have a Group with Voice enable an DID assigned, is there an option on genesys that you can call out on behalf of the Group DID number?

    just like calling on behalf on a Queue to show the Queue DID number to the customer.

    Note:

    all users in the group are communicate licenses users only. Thanks

    is there other options to achieve this ? thanks

    No, currently only on behalf of a queue, but you could make that the same number for both.  They can choose the queue on the outbound.

    Yeah, sorry but no.  There is no feature to call on behalf of a group and you can't assign that to multiple people.  Didn't realize you talking about Communicate users.  If you use the Genesys Cloud for Chrome plug-in for Edge or Chrome, you can specify and outbound caller ID.  That can be used for Communicate users and would allow what you want.  

    Configure the Genesys Cloud browser extensions - Genesys Cloud Resource Center (mypurecloud.com)

    Check this box in the configuration:  

    Here is what the user would change their OLI or outbound caller id:

    thanks, this is great. the only concern when i tried it, is the user has to key in the caller id she wants to display when using this plug in :-)

    Is this the only group and DID they need to call on behalf of?  Are you happy if ALL calls outbound show that number?

    Hi Vaun,

    all good, i found a solution by doing the trunk settings... in the Identity to show the Group number DID number ... since there is no option yet on genesys.. on calling on behalf of the group... :-)
