You can't remove the button, but you can castrate it by just not giving any routes in the site for those users or taking away the trunks for each of the call routes. The only way to restrict this "feature (or lack thereof)" would be to put the phones of those users in that site.

We don't want our CSRs to be able to make outbound calls using the GC desktop app dial pad from the calls menu. I haven't been able to find a way to customize any of the views to remove that option from the view, so I'm not sure it's possible.
Is there a way to hide the dial pad from the Calls menu in the GC desktop app for users assigned to a certain role or group?
