    Attention Genesys Cloud Users of External Contacts,

    We are excited to announce that Genesys Cloud will soon introduce a significantly enhanced user interface (UI) and API experience for managing external contacts through the bulk CSV import process. These updates are designed to streamline the user experience, increase data accuracy, and offer greater transparency throughout the import process.

    Key features of this update include:

    • Improved user experience
    • Enhanced monitoring and scalability
    • Multiple levels of validation
    • Enhanced source-to-target mapping
    • Advanced Data Management

    To assist with this transition, we have provided detailed information and screenshot comparisons in our Resource Center Announcement. Please ensure your organization's administrators are informed about these upcoming changes.

    Important Timeline:

    • The current CSV bulk import experience will remain available for 60 days after the new feature's general availability. Following this 60-day period, the old import process will be retired.

    We are targeting an early October release for these updates, though this timeline is subject to change. To stay informed, please "follow" this post for the latest updates. The Resource Center Announcement will also be continuously updated with any new information.

    Thank you for taking the time to let us know about this improvement in the import process. Unfortunately, after searching through the announcement pages for all the different types, I was unable to find any mention of this. Would you kindly provide the link to the resource material?

    @Robert Wakefield-Carl The new CSV Bulk import is out. Share feedback once the team starts using it. 

    Also there's a limitation to be aware of.
