Hello - you can do this with "Input" and "Output" variables:
Script input and output variables - PureCloud Resource Center
These are the participant attribute array key/value pairs (all strings). They're referred to as Participant Data in Architect, and as Input / Output variables in Scripter. Note these are different than the direct variable passing that happens in Set Screen Pop actions.
