Yes, it was merged into https://genesyscloud.ideas.aha.io/ideas/SSAAOB-I-123. We're still targeting the second half of this year to release the feature, with the idea being it will kick off a workflow based on a chron job (every 30 minutes, every other Tuesday, once a month, etc.). Keep in mind this will still be subject to the existing Trigger limits, and the exact granularity is still being decided. The other major consideration is that the workflow will not receive any invocation data (beyond perhaps the trigger ID that started the workflow), so the workflow will need to be structured in a way that it collects all the data that is needed in order to accomplish its purpose. Bad news is you can't at present.
Good news is I posted an idea for this long time ago. It's merged with another idea and is in development.
I had to do an AWS job to execute every Month that would call a Lambda to start the workflow I wanted to schedule.
