Hi,

I was looking into the command and events for web messenger on this page - Genesys Cloud Developer Center

Is there any way I could create my own event/command and subscribe to it when certain check passes in the Message Flow.

For example, I need to run some logic in my SPA when agent has accepted the chat, or when authenticated attributes are undefined in the flow.

If that's not possible, are there any alternatives?

I am interested in understanding this too. The Genesys resource does seem to indicate that custom events can be used but I have not been able to find guides on how to set this up. In fact all events that are configurable in the Action Maps seem to be standard ones. There is no option to set a custom event.

It's not possible to create your own event/command in the Web Messaging API (may be some idea to submit). 

you can used the custom data in web messaging request / response, Genesys Cloud Data Action or Topics depending on the use case
