    Genesys Cloud is such a smart platform and I though it would auto-detect the user location and select time zone for reporting...
    Is it possible to set a default time zone for creating new report?

    Daniel, the Genesys Cloud platform is really moving away from the use of flat reports and recommends using our export functionality on the various performance views we provide.  When using the export, we do try to match up the locale of the user.  (This is subject to whatever IP we detect so if you are working from home and your VPN says you are sitting in Kansas then that is the region we'd try to map to.)  Here is a screenshot showing where this can be accomplished.

    Hi Daniel, 
    The Genesys API's are fantastic. Yes it can be done but you would have to develop an application. We have designed a custom report dashboard application for clients where the frontend GUI detects your time zone and converts the viewing of reporting and dashboarding to your time zone. If you need anymore info let me know.
