At this time there is currently no way to do this. I have also looked into the ideas portal and cannot find any ideas around this. My recommendation would be to create an idea for this. But as of now its working as expected.

When you search for a agent in the dial pad, it would would give the matching results relating to agents and external contacts.
In the tooltip of information icon, is it possible to show the title of the employee?
Following image, currently just shows Location, Phone, E-mail address, when you hover on the "i" icon.
