Genesys Cloud - Main

Looking for advice/guidance on the procedure to link an Audiocodes MP124 gateway with a Genesys Edge server . We have the Edge server online , the Edge Group built bu so far we can't find documentation on how to link the two together , assuming its via a Phone Trunk but no clue where to start . So far , our Genesys implementation team has not been able to assist .
Any info will be greatly appreciated .

Just to be clear, is it fair to assume this is an FXS?

Assuming so, my understanding is that you create a Phone Trunk of type SIP and set up the protocols etc.
Then create a Phone Base settings for a Generic SIP phone.
Next, create your Phones based on the Base settings. 
Finally, configure the FXS to register (as the created Phones) with the Edge.
