    Is it possible to integrate efax into Genesys Cloud and particularly on a GC1 licence and If so how would it be done ?. Would it be done through the AppFoundary ?.

    How about having eFax receive the fax and send to an email address in Genesys to route to a queue.  On the outbound, I don't see how it could be used.

    So do we need to create an architect call flow to enable this to happen ? . Also looking at the way faxes are sent and delivered the fax comes into the users inbox and workspace in Documents. Is it possible through a flow or other means to route the fax to a shared location ?.

    Not a call flow -but an Email flow.

    Call comes into eFax who receives the fax and emails to an Email in Genesys and is routed to the queue.

    Carl,

    the customer is on a GC1 licence and therefore does not have any email flow facility.

    Robert is there any specific reason it needs to be an email flow instead of a call flow ?. Also if we have multiple countries who require to use the fax functionality would you need a user(s) per country to be able to send and receive faxes ?.

    There is not a good way to detect and route faxes in a call flow.  Also, we can only receive faxes on behalf of users, not queues.  Efax would receive the fax and send to an Email flow in Genesys that allows routing to agents.
