  • 1.  Email Channel - Masking

    Hi everybody

    Just looking for any information or confirmation that masking, PCI / PII is or isn't applied to Email interactions on the Genesys side?

    I see plenty of info on messaging, but nothing specific to Emails, and a few test emails aren't masking anything when I try.

    When you turn on in the ORG settings, that is only for voice.  When you use Digital Content Filtering, it can apply to these:

    That is perfect

    So nothing automatically applied, like PCI masking. We have to build our own regex for email masking?

    Open Messaging still redacts credit cards by default for now.

    and is it possible to deactivate any type of mask?, we would like to capture an agreement number of 14 numbers long but appears masked with *
