    Hello,

    A user recently returned from 8 weeks of absence, and during that period, the user automatically changed state to Inactive.

    So my question is, for how long does a user need to be logged out, before they lose their active flag?

    User activation & deactivation is done via Native UI People & Permissions option.

    They can stay as long as logged in until their account is active.

    Hi Peter

    Are your users provisioned via SCIM from AD?

    @Vaun McCarthy Good point!

    Based on Peter's description that may be the case.

    Thank you for your replies.

    I learned that someone had manually checked users activity, and set all users who were not logged in for a period, as inactive. So that answers my question :)
