  • 1.  Gamification API dateOccurred question

    Greetings WEM Community!

    We're in the process of setting up Gamification. We're doing some testing of updating data via API and we're coming across an issue with the 

    /api/v2/employeeperformance/externalmetrics/data API. When setting dateOccurred, it seems to me that the date set should be reflected in the scorecard, but it's showing the data for todays' date. For example, we set '2023-09-01', but when checking the scorecard, the data shows for today, 2023-09-07. Can someone help me understand what is happening and if this is expected behavior? Most likely we'll update the data daily anyway, but if there are any amendments needed for past performance, it seems that in its current state, we'll be unable to do so.

    Hi @Jeremy Carlton, your understanding is right. DateOccured is the date for which your data should be reflected on the scorecard. There was a regression bug that was introduced recently and a fix got deployed to all regions this morning. Please note that the data you previously uploaded was still eventually correctly associated with the right workday as the data was recalculated during the night. 

    From now on you should see the correct behaviour. If you upload external data with dateOccured = today, you should see it reflected immediately on your scorecard metric. If you pass data in the past or future for dateOccured, then these will only be processed during the night pipeline.
