    Hi Team,
     
    Greetings! Does Genesys cloud provide RESTful APIs to establish web messaging session with a front end application?
     
    We are aware of WebSocket API for Web Messaging Guest API but due to technical limitations we cannot use WebSocket API or the Messenger JavaScript SDK  at the front end application.

    Open Messaging is used to bridge between a front-end messaging application and Genesys Cloud. Is that what you are looking for? It has APIs you can use.

    I'm very curious about your request: can you elaborate why you cannot use WebSocket, and how REST API would help?
