I haven't heard reports of customers having issues with this, but here are some questions/things you can check to make sure your environment is optimized.
Does this also happen in GC base client, outside of the embeddable framework?
Check if the SIP ALG is switched On or Off on the users end.
Check if the WebRTC traffic is whitelisted in the Firewall and Antivirus application.
Have you tried testing with while using Media Helper.
Also it might be helpful to check your settings with your VPN provider to let SIP and WebRT traffic through.
