Genesys Cloud - Main

I'm trying to embed the Genesys Cloud softphone into my company's webpage using the Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework.
I've confirmed that it works using the "purecloud-embeddable-framework-example," but the grant type is "the Token Implicit Grant (Browser)."

The Resource Center (https://help.genesys.cloud/articles/create-an-oauth-client/) contains the following two statements:

Feature postponement: The Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) grant type authorization in embedded clients has been temporarily postponed. Please check Genesys Cloud - Features coming soon for updated availability information.Feature deprecation: Genesys will deprecate the Token Implicit Grant (Browser) option for OAuth authorization. All existing customers are encouraged to migrate to the Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) grant type for OAuth 2 authorization. For more information about this deprecation, see Deprecation: Token Implicit Grant (Browser) option for OAuth authorization.

As things stand, does my only option now be to wait until "The Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE)" becomes available in "Genesys Cloud Embeddable Framework" with the grant type "the Token Implicit Grant (Browser)"?

If its something that's not required now I would wait until Proof Key for Code Exchange (PKCE) grant type becomes available.  If its something you would like to test you can use the Token Implicit Grant for now but will need to change it in May as the current deprecation date is 24.05.2026.
