From what I understand, Genesys does not currently enforce a hard limit when the concurrent license count is exceeded. The platform simply records the peak concurrent usage during the billing period and billing is based on that peak.

It mentions that while you could attempt to monitor login events and trigger a workflow to log users out, the user may already have consumed the license usage for that period.

Morning folks, am curious how are you managing the overage (if at all) for your concurrent licenses. Be default Genesys doesn't limit any user login even if it crosses the bought license count, this is now a challenge from an audit perspective. Also, the alerts - not a whole lot helpful to permit/give intimation of when we are about to reach the limit of bought licenses. Has anyone been able to solve this??
