I believe you can accomplish what you are doing with the Dialogflow CX bot integration. With is you can use interactive cards to send images, titles, body text, and list of buttons.
To send images as reponse to customer questions you should configure your Dialogflow CX bot to use card responses. The Genesys messenger integration natively supports theses rich media elements through the bot conversation api.
