    Hi Xavier,

    Dates are always to be handled with care as any forward-looking statement they are based on estimates.

    Our estimate is a Beta date in August and an Opt-in GA date in September.

    Thank you for the great questions!

    This particular navigation update will not improve the search behavior beyond surfacing page results in the global search.

    There are ideas and features published via Aha! where, for example, our planned search improvements are visible.

    Hi Zoltan, a couple of questions about the release. We are implementing Genesys around the same timelines for one of our major services and would like to understand impacts this release might impact our go-live dates.

    • Will we have the ability to control 'old' vs 'new' UI experience at a Role level in our environment? If so, for how long will that be within our control?
    • Is there likely to be any change in experience between Beta and GA? If so, when does the GA experience become 'locked in'?
    • We understand opt in GA is in september, how long will we have till its mandated for all user?

    Hi Satish,

    Yes, there will be a permission that can be added to roles and groups. Using this permission admins can toggle on a per user basis if the user sees the old or the new navigation experience.

    The "opt-in" permission will be available from the Beta till the end of the opt-in GA period, until we reach mandatory GA. From then on, all users will see the new navigation only.

    The Beta is planned from mid August till late September, and the opt-in GA period is planned to be 1 month long.

    There are minor changes planned between Beta and GA, but we also plan to incorporate feedback we receive from internal and external users, so that scope might grow.

    GA experience will be locked 2 weeks before opt-in GA, e.g. mid September.

    Hey @Zoltan Juricskay - Will the new unified nav experience have any influence on the Genesys widget within Salesforce.

    Attached a screenshot of the 'widget' in case the terminology is not correct :)

    Or would these changes only apply to the Genesys app?

    Hi Ross,

    Thank you for the question, this is an important detail!

    The introduction of the new navigation system only affects the browser and the desktop-based Genesys clients. There will be no effect on the embedded client.
