  • 1.  Help with Generic Webhook

    I've set up the Generic Webhook integration and created a test mapping with no filters to send to a chat target group I am a member of.

    Using the given URL for the webhook in Postman, I am sending a POST request which returns a 200, however, my message is not being sent.

    My JSON payload is very basic and meets the requirements given in Set up an integration using the Generic Webhook

    Any ideas?

    Yes we are. Is that a factor even though there is no authentication required for a webhook?

    Note: Do not enable SSO-only authentication if you use webhooks for chat notification integrations. This feature requires password-based authentication to Genesys Cloud and fails with errors when SSO-only is enabled.

    Well, that's really.... Unfortunate. Thanks for the replies and the info. We just launched on Genesys Cloud 10 months ago and I'm still learning all these little quirks.

    Hi Jeremy,

    The below link is for signing up to the Beta for Collaborate Chat APIs. This enables you to send to existing or new Chat Rooms. This works with SSO only environments and uses the Platform API and therefore OAUTH authentication.
