Genesys Cloud - Main

Looking for insight on Holiday Management.

Given Genesys cloud doesn't currently support holiday balance management, has anyone come across an easy way of managing the holiday booking through Genesys and the holiday balance in a third party app/system?

Is it on the roadmap for Genesys cloud to manage the full holiday process including agent balance information?

Hi Darren,

We are actively working on enhancing and automating the time off management process in Genesys Cloud.  The first phase of this effort will be to establish accrual rates, carryover rules, advance notification settings and setting up approval rules with these in mind. 

Examples include:

• Does agent have enough balance to cover the leave request?  If yes, then auto approve 
• Did agent make leave request enough time in advance AND do they have enough balance?  If yes, then auto approve

If you have access to the Ideas Lab, details of what we will be implementing in phase 1 can be found here:  https://genesys.aha.io/ideas/CLWFO-I-7.  Feel free to vote and/or provide your use cases.  Our dev team is in the process of scoping/sizing this first phase, so we don't have a delivery date at this time, but I will update the Idea once it is available.
