  • 1.  How can I access group voicemail remotely via phone?

    hi everyone,

    New implementation - first post here.

    One of our divisions is set up as a ring group with voicemail.  They want to be able to access their group voicemail box remotely via phone (they don't want the group voicemail messages sent via email).

    Is it possible to access the group voicemail mailbox remotely?

    Any help appreciated.

    Group voicemail is not stored online from what I have seen.  Best is to send it to an email address that is then routed to an ACD queue or to a shared mailbox on your mail system.

    Group voicemail is sent to the users' inbox in the Client UI, so group members can access it from there. Dialing *86 from the Client gets you into the mailbox options, one of which is to access group messages over the phone.

    Thanks George, but the users will not be logged into Purecloud. They are looking to dial in to voicemail via a mobile/cell phone to retrieve any messages.

    That is not a feature of PureCloud, nor can it be created using Architect.

    On a mobile they would have to run the mobile app and log in to access the Inbox to listen to Group Voicemail.
