  • 1.  How to allow servicenow agents to login to Genesys Cloud

    Hi Folks,

    I have Genesys Cloud with following Add-On license "PureCloud for ServiceNow Connector Add-On Concurrent" my client want servicenow agents to login to genesys and use click-to-dial and receive inbound calls from servicenow.

    Let me know what if the PureCloud for ServiceNow Connector Add-On Concurrent license is enough from Genesys side.

    if yes can you give me brief configuration steps to accomplish it.

    Hi Thirumurugan,

    I didn't have the connector, i just have the add on license "PureCloud for ServiceNow Connector Add-On Concurren"

    Do we need to get the connector installed to allow servicenow agents to login to genesys or just the above license would be enough ?

    Yes, there is a lot of installation and configuration that needs to be done to set up the integration between Genesys Cloud and ServiceNow...just having the license does nothing.

    Start at https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/about-unified-experience-from-genesys-and-servicenow/

    Under Overview you'll see a link for the Requirements and other vital notes

    Then 

    Set up the integration in ServiceNow

    Set up the integration in Genesys Cloud

    Configure interaction handling in ServiceNow

    and

    Agent experience in ServiceNow

    Each section needs to be completed in sequence for the agent to finally be able to log into Genesys Cloud from ServiceNow and handle calls through the ServiceNow side
