Do we have the ability to implement softphone functionality into a custom application, in this case an iOS application? Basically we need the option to make an outbound call and receive the audio from within our application. I've looked through the API and don't see where I could setup or retrieve the audio path currently (preferably WebRTC) so any info would be greatly appreciated, even a pointer to the roadmap item.

You can, but that would require you to build it yourself. PureCloud does not offer a software package to run a softphone for ios or android.

Hey Tim, I figured as much, but is there any plan to open the existing WebRTC phone for embedding in other applications? If not, any pointers on which APIs would be required for implementing my own WebRTC phone (if that's even possible at this time).
Thanks!

Unfortunately, we do not have plans to support 3rd party WebRTC clients at this time and cannot offer any guidance. You may be able to get something to work, but it would be unsupported. However, I have submitted your feature request.
