  • 1.  Inline formatting for messaging

    We have found that most of the formatting listed here https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/format-text-chats/ does not seem to work in web messaging.

    Most works with SMS but not web messaging.  Are there different codes to use for messaging?

    For instance custom links will not hide the link in the custom text.  It shows the custom text and the URL link.  It is a clickable link so it works but not the pretty experience that it delivers for SMS.  We would like to use highlights but that will not work at all in web messages.

    Are others experiencing the same?  Any work arounds?

    Hello Daniel, 

    Yeah the document you provided is for Collaborate and SMS. If you want to use the web messaging you will need to look at this resource center doc. 

    Web messaging uses rich text formatting which needs to be turned on in the web messenger configuration before use. But to highlight text using the rich text for messenger all it is:

    This is ==highlighted== text
