Hello,

This would be for desktop application v2.20+. I'm looking to see how we can automate certain values (see below) to be created/auto-populated with the install for new users.

changes looking to include with install:

General (Preferences) - 'launch application on startup', 'let Genesys Cloud determine your current location'

Sound (Preferences) - set an 'audio device profile' with a set name and a set value for the options included within the profile

For new installs, I'm looking to see how the above options can be included with the install (registry value, install file, etc..).

With that and maybe use of the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit you could maybe piece together what you want.

This looks correct but when i modify an entry outlined in the link it doesn't reflect the change on my desktop app. Is this only for installation/initial settings?

Depends on which setting. If it is command-line, you need to modify the shortcut and then shut down the app, start it from teh shortcut. If registry setting, then shut down and restart the app.
