I have a question from a script administrator/designer who use Scripts heavily in their organisation.
When our script builder saves a script component (e.g. a capture field, button, or horizontal stack container) as a component template, it is saved successfully and appears in the component templates list. However, this list only displays approximately the 20–30 most recently saved components. As new components are saved, older ones drop off the visible list. There does not appear to be a way to open a full library view showing all components ever saved (potentially several hundred) to search and insert from.
What we need to confirm:
- Does Genesys provide a persistent component library that stores and displays all saved script components, rather than only the most recent 30?
- If yes, is access to this full library governed by user permission level or license tier? Our builder currently operates at an elevated permission level (above standard dialer agents, who cannot create or edit scripts) after access was previously scoped down from a higher level.
- If access is permission- or license-dependent, what level is required, and is there an associated cost?
- If no full-library view exists as standard, can this functionality be enabled through custom configuration for our account, given how we use scripts?
Is anyone able to offer any solutions or ideas to overcome this limitation?
Thanks,
