Trying to set up a demo Microsoft Graph API connection.

Able to send emails into Genesys and reply to them.

My issue is the exchange server is not sending them on says not  allowed basically.

Set up a client the same way and they environment works fine two communication.

Tried various options and setting  in the Azure environment,  does anyone know how the shared mailbox should be set up ?

Any pointers on what I am missing would be very much appreciated

    Hi Abdul,

I would check the configuration of the Azure environment as per: Configure Microsoft Azure for email integration and Microsoft Graph integration FAQs

    Hi Abdul

Thank you for the additional info that you shared in the other community chat - https://community.genesys.com/discussion/microsoft-graph-api#bm076f9999-e98f-435c-910e-019db58d53fe.

I'm assuming you followed these steps to set up the current test shared mailbox, correct? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/email/configure-a-shared-mailbox?view=o365-worldwide#:~:text=access%20Microsoft%20email-,In%20the%20admin%20center%2C%20go%20to%20Teams%20&%20groups%20%3E%20Shared,Select%20Save.

Can you share the current setup as this might help with providing possible options.

    Regards

Thank you for the replies managed to work out why the exchange will not relay out the emails because Microsoft won't allow it from a  demo setup unlicensed.

"Direct user email is trusted by Microsoft by default. Automated relay traffic is reputation‑controlled and intentionally restricted in demo tenants."
If I log onto the user account on the demo box it is ok I can send and receive emails.

Not like the old days when you had  MS subscriptions to play with on physical servers.
