typically with Canadian SIP trunkers, we have issues if you change the Diversion method and Asserted identity parameter.

Typically to stay out of trouble:
Diversion Method need to be at None
Asserted Identity need to be at P-Asserted Identity

Is anyone in Canada using Bell SIP trunks without having your own SBC?

Inbound and Outbound calling are working, however, we are running into issues formatting the SIP headers to meet Bell's requirements.

We tried using regular expressions within the Trunk / Identity / Outbound section to format but it seems to only affect the number portion.

When I create an external trunk it automatically creates it as Type: External SIP. I don't have a way to select BYOC Carrier or BYOC PBX for some reason.

These are the things that we don't yet know how to do:

1. We need to insert the trunk group selection using TGRP tag or OTG tag.

2. We need to remove "user=phone" from the from header. It is not supported in Dynamic ONND.

3. We need to send "siptrunking.bell.ca" in the request URI and the to header host parts instead of the IP address.

Thank you Eric.  Those settings are set the way you mentioned, and inbound and outbound are working, however, Bell is asking us for the specific items mentioned in my post. Have you run across that before? Thank you for your help!
