    Hello,

    As I review the release notes/announcements, both notes and wrap up panel enhancements have been postponed from Feb 17 release. Does product team know the exact week/release date when they will be available? 

    1.  Notes Panel (Enhanced Genesys Cloud notes panel UI - Genesys Cloud Resource Center) - Earlier, there were screenshots of the enhancements, but now it is only text description. Does anyone have them?
    2. Wrap up Panel (https://help.mypurecloud.com/improved-wrap-up-panel-ui/) - Are there any screenshots available?

    I have asked this numerous times of the PMs to supply Now and Later pictures for us that really need to understand what changes are taking place.  @Jason Kleitz or @Cameron Tomlin, can you PLEASE get us some for these two features?

    We completely understand the need for clear visuals to better grasp these changes, and I appreciate your persistence in requesting them. As mentioned above due to last minute changes and technical issue with publishing the updates to the announcements & release notes  

    That said, a detailed list outlining the changes has been shared to ensure transparency and help with preparation, and will post visuals here within the next hour ..

    Hi @Darshan Dave. Yes they were present , but removed due to some last minute changes, and an unforeseen technical issue with publishing these updates.  I'm hoping to have them posted here within the next hour.  Also we are planing to release on Monday, March 3, there was also suppose to be a revised regional rollout schedule post along side of the release notes and announcement as well

    Thanks Nichols, that would be helpful.

    Do we know the release date of these two features as I could not see exact date on idea portal/announcement/release notes 

    They were supposed to be released in Feb 24 release for CA-central region but now it only shows 2 weeks, Should we assume March 10 as new effective date?

    Hi @Darshan Dave     We officially begin the extended release schedule on 3/3 and based on extended schedule (below). You're correct you should see the updates appearing on 3/10.

    Hello Nicholas

    I am seeing these features are planned for next release as per Features Coming Soon

    What is the updated regional schedule for both of them? Unfortunately, the original releases notes for March 3 only says they were postponed. We require specificity to get prepared for any UI change.

    When is the Genesys Cloud Release schedule going to be updated with this information? That is still reflecting releases starting on Monday and completing Wednesday of the release week. Where did they announce this change? Our organization was unaware of this change.

    This revised rollout schedule for this feature and it was for this feature only.  It was mentioned with the announcement a few weeks ago. However once the feature is released the announcement is removed.  As of today (about an hour ago) we have suspended the release.  It should reappear on the announcement page with the new date.

    Hello @Nicholas Robinson,
    Thank you for your update. On behalf of my client may I ask below two queries if feasible?

    1. Does this new UI change for Wrap-Up & Notes, include Shadow DOM encapsulation on its architect topology, and if so, does the revised new update remain have it as designed? (My client uses MS Power Automate to proceed with the daily automated WrapUp test, and it had a problem completing this task when they had a new UIs temporarily this Thursday (APNE1). MS Power Automate would not be the ideal tool to track this task as our UIs periodically change to improve customer efficiency, but it would be great to know whether Shadow DOM might be the cause or not so they can consider a workaround).
    2. Is there any fixed new target date available for the revised release schedule? (i.e week 3/10, 3/17 or 3/24 etc).

    Some components in Wrap-up and Notes are based on Spark. Spark relies on a Shadow DOM for its Web-component. Typically, the List of Wrap-up was based on gux-listbox from Spark relying on Shadow DOM

    There we no roll backs last week regarding wrap up.. We just began rolling out this week. ?? There was a rollback about 2-3 weeks ago

    Is the spacing between wrap ups with recent changes deliberate? As now more scrolling may be required to select a wrap up, as per screen shots.

    Along these lines, the feedback we are getting from our agents is that the font for wrap up codes is now harder to see and they need to lean in to read. Adjusting the zoom in the browser is not a solution because it messes with the panels for multi contextual view. Is there a way to increase the font specifically within panels in Genesys Cloud?

    Our contact center does not use wrap up codes.  The screen we are seeing is stating loading wrap up codes, takes about 2-3 seconds then the done button appears.  How can we make the done button appear quicker?

    The agent should use Agent Requested mode for the Wrap-up by this way, the conversation will be closed automatically when disconnected.

    The constraint is a new button appears in the conversation toolbar, see:

    With this solution, the agent won't have to click on the Done button to complete the conversation.

     

    The other solution is to use the Mandatory Time-Boxed mode, but with certain constraints:

    • The minimum of timeout is 1 second
    • The wrap-up time is selected automatically on disconnect
    • A toast message notifies about the ACW timeout

    With this solution, the agent will see during a short period the Wrap-up panel displayed and notification on ACW expiration.

    We have had a similar complaint with the new "Done" button on the Wrap Up Panel. The complaint is that it is smaller than what it used to be and is hard to find for some users.

    I'm seeing a potential issue with the Notes panel. It would appear that it is no longer saving information entered here, and rather is clearing it out after the interaction is complete. My agents use this area heavily for email interactions, and it's critical that the information entered in retained for business use. This had been previously working as expected. he release schedule states my region received this update on Tuesday 4/1, and starting on Wednesday 4/2, the notes panel appears to have stopped retaining the text entered by agents. This was the case for every interaction an agent stated they added text to the Notes panel for, so it seems unlikely that the agent just forgot/ it was user error. Did the panel update change this? This has a significant impact.

    We rarely use the notes function, but have just started to use it for a new project, and my agents are reporting that if they select the wrap up and then enter notes, the notes do not save. If they enter the notes before selecting the wrap up then the notes do save. 

    As we haven't used this before, I can't say if it is related to your issue or if it has always been this way.

    That's very interesting, Rowena. My agents are entering their notes prior to selecting their wrap code as well. However, they often start them while still connected to interactions (vs in wrap status), which had been saving fine up until this point. Are your agents entering notes in wrap status but just before selecting the wrap code? If so, that may something I need to test out.

    Sorry for delayed reply, I have been away. 

    Yes, most of our work is in external CRMs, so we rarely need to add notes to the interactions directly. I think that when we are entering the notes they are only after the interaction has ended and during the wrap status.

    Thanks Rowena, and no problem. I ended up doing some testing with this and still got mixed results at best. However, I got an update from care on the case I opened, and as of Monday they stated that a fix was deployed to production. I'm still watching things, but based on my testing after that and actual production interactions thus far, the fix seems to have solved the issue.
