Hi Jason,
We've implemented a workaround using authenticated web messaging with OpenID integration through Auth0. We are using the same Genesys Web Messaging deployment on both domains, with the same OpenID configuration. When the same user logs in on each website, Genesys recognizes them as the same user, and the chat session synchronizes and persists across both domains.
Do you foresee any challenges with this approach, or do you have any feedback on the workaround?
Thanks

Hello Emily,
Currently, there is no way to do that but I do see that the Idea that you submitted is currently marked as Future Consideration in the Product Ideas Lab. I do see that our Admin responded today:
We'll review as potential candidate on future roadmap: trying to persist anything across different domains does have privacy implications, all browsers are blocking this. For now the product supports persistency across sub-domains.

How do you persist a live web-messaging conversation in Genesys Cloud cross two different domains
