We are using the Polycom VVX311 phone, with the Plantronics CS540 wireless headset with the EHS (electronic hook switch) cable. We are needing a way for a new agent to listen in on calls with an experienced agent. In the past we were using the HDI Wireless Headset Training Adapter 03929-63 from headsetsdirect.com (
https://www.headsetsdirect.com/product/hdi-wireless-headset-training-adapter-03929-63/) but this does not appear to work with the EHS cables.
What would you recommend for us to have the ability to have new agent listen in on calls?
If nothing is available I was considering creating a new role that would give the new agent the ability to monitor calls while they are training and would remove them from the role when training is completed.
