  • 1.  pick the right Inbound chat flow

    Hi,

    I am new to Genesys Pure cloud!! I was trying to submit a Chat interaction to the chosen queue but not able to figure out how does Pure Cloud choose which Inbound chat flow to pick(I have few test Inbound chat flows). I see we could do this for Voice but not able to see this for chat.

    Can someone help?

    Note, also, that you have to use the 1.1 or 2.0 version of the Widget (or Third Party). 1.0 does not support Chat flows.

    Kind of straight forward like a mountain road in Italy!

    First, you need to create the chat flow in Architect and Publish.  
    Then, you go into Admin->Widgets and create a new widget and set these parameters:
    Choose version 2 or 1.1 depending on if AltoCloud is being used.  

    Authorization is whether or not you are using this.
    Appearance is the modern or basic look - like anyone would choose Basic!
    Then select the Chat flow you published.  

    Now, use the code snippet to initiate the chat.
