  • 1.  Professional Certification badge – How long does it take?

    Hi everyone,

    I recently passed the Genesys Cloud: Professional Certification exam, and I received the confirmation email with my passing score and instructions to claim the badge through Credly.

    I passed the exam on August 7, but I haven't received the Credly invitation or badge yet.

    For those who have recently completed the Professional Certification, how long did it take for the badge to be issued or for the Credly invitation to arrive?

    I've previously completed two other Genesys Cloud certifications, and I don't remember the badge process taking this long, so I wanted to check if there has been a change in the processing time or if this is currently taking longer than usual.

    Congratulations on passing the Professional Certification! 🎉

    In my experience, the Credly badge is not always issued immediately after receiving the exam results email. For most of my Genesys certifications, the badge invitation arrived anywhere from a few hours to several business days after the passing notification.

    A few things I would recommend checking:

    • Make sure the email address used for your Genesys certification matches the email address associated with your Credly account.
    • Check your spam/junk folder for emails from Credly.
    • Log in to Credly directly and verify whether the badge has already been issued but the invitation email was missed.

    Since you passed on August 7, I would suggest allowing a few business days for the badge synchronization process. Sometimes there can be delays between the exam platform, Genesys certification records, and Credly.

    If you still do not see the badge after several business days, I would recommend contacting the Genesys Certification team or opening a support request. Be sure to include your certification name, exam date, and candidate details to help them investigate.

    Having completed multiple Genesys certifications myself, I've found that badge delivery times can vary, so a short delay is usually not a cause for concern.
