  • 1.  Re-sort outbound campaign on different fields, multiple times a day?

    Alright we have an odd request from our business. We want to re-sort a running campaign 4 times a day (morning, noon, afternoon, night), but we want the priority or sort to be 4 different columns. our business logic team has table that has morning priority field, noon priority field, afternoon field, night field. any thoughts on if this is possible?

    Have you considered 4 different campaigns and a campaign sequence with different sorting for each?  This can be scheduled with an outside API call or automatically when the first campaign finishes.

    Yeah, Carl, thanks for the idea, we did think of that, but ran accross this issue.  lets say we have 50 agents in this group, when we get to the end of campaign 1 end time, it doesn't really shut down until everyone is off campaign calls, and we found the other campaign does not start.  so we had agents idle for large amounts of time during the switchover.

    Yes, if you count on the automatic switching, then that is the case. I suggest a trigger and API call or an outside API that looks at status and changes.  Should not require users to log off or be inactive.
