report export in "old" XLS format -- does it work ?, or option should be removed as "misleading"

    Greetings

    for the automation purposes I planned to use report-export in the Excel format.

    Found the .Net-based third-party library that can import "old" XLS format.

    But it appears that GenesysCloud is exporting on "PK" XLSX format regardless to the choice between two Excel options  (besides PDF)

    should the XLS option be removed as "misleading" ?

    Hi Dmytro,

    If you are going to use .Net-based third-party library that can import "old" XLS format.
    Don't you think that it will be a better approach to implement own reporting application based on GC API and create reports any formats you want.
    Please let me know what kind of reporting you want I can help you with GC API.
