Would suggest to raise this as Idea on entire Messaging platform, as we are centralizing file attachment related configuration in Supported Content Profile.

These attachments need to be sent/uploaded to another application and it has a restriction on maximum file size to 5MB. This is why we want to restrict the allowed file size in messenger to 5MB.

We are trying to maintain a standard of 5MB as maximum allowed file size in all digital channels. But in Web messenger it shows that maximum allowed file size is 10MB without any option to change it. I would need help to cap the maximum allowed attachment file size to 5MB.
