  • 1.  Setup alerts

    Hi folks,

    I'm setting up alerts in our Genesys Cloud environment, and the business wants those alerts to trigger only during business hours. Is there a native capability within Genesys Cloud that can do this? If so, how can I do that? Appreciate your assistance.

    Hi Vidhu,

    Just to confirm, are these alerts being created using Alert Rules in the Analytics Workspace, or are they triggered via an Architect Workflow?

    Hi Vidhu,

    I solved the problem with an alert-email to a genesys-email-address that starts a e-mail flow. In that you can check for opening hours. I then started a workflow via Data Action that sends notifcation-emails to all relevant colleagues. (I use this workaround because I had no agentless-email-domain configured).
    Its not a simple solution but it works for me.
    If your usecase bases on trigger-able metrics, you could use triggers and skip the part with the e-mail.
