Genesys Cloud - Main

Hi all,

I'm curious if anybody else has overcome this issue. We have a worldwide organisation based in the Frankfurk (euc1) org. We're attempting to on board a new market based in India who have strict legal requirements regarding the SIP registration, it must be to an IP address based in India.

From reading the documentation (https://help.mypurecloud.com/articles/byoc-cloud-public-sip-ip-addresses) we are restricted to pointing our Voip carrier to the load balancer IPs located in Frankfurt... 

Any suggestion to overcome this? I'm thinking perhaps a dedicated edge device deployed in market, however keen to think of alternative solutions.

Typically, we terminate a trunk or use GVC in the Mumbai region and have phones in a site that is tied to the that region as well.  The full TSP/CSP classification is coming for Genesys and they are half-way there to providing connectivity in India without having to go through 3rd-party companies locally.

Just a side note regarding Global Media Fabric...

It is only for the media portion of the call. SIP signaling still goes back over the internet to the organization's edges which are in the org's region.
