Good afternoon community,

In our organization we want to test the capabilities of our Edges. Did you want to know if you know any software that allows us to stress the edges with calls or if you have done something similar using the purecloud functionalities?

You can use a dialer to generate calls to a DID on the edge. Point the DID to an announcement in Loop for the duration you want the simultaneous calls to last and then disconnect.

I use the SIP Bulk Caller from Genesys. It is in the PureConnect catalog:

Interaction SIP Bulk Caller is a SIP bulk call generator that can be used to send and receive SIP calls. It can also be used to simulate station registrations.

or an industry standard for a lot of years, Empirix Hammer:

Yes, you can use a second PureCloud org to do some bulk calling using the Outbound Dialing feature to DIDs on the other PureCloud org, but you'll need a lot of Edge resources for that to place the calls. Placing too many calls at once will cause problems, but small campaigns would work.
